Not be missed take-ways:
1. Our dreams can change and grow if we allow the space for that to happen.
2. Little steps of courage along the way help us gain confidence, including the setbacks.
3. Positive affirmations help people through life’s challenges. Words make all the difference.
4. If we could speak to ourselves as kindly as we’d speak to a treasured person in our lives, that would be one way to improve our lives dramatically.
5. Focus on the good because there’s always so much good to focus on.
6. If you have an idea, don’t look too far down the road. Just think about what your first step would be. If you don’t know what that is, ask yourself, but if I did know what would I do next?
7. One blessing of being older is our life experience. Use that and listen to your inner voice for the answers.
8. Everyone, no matter their position, age, or level of achievement can benefit from recognition or an affirmation.
9. When your mind is working overtime with negative thoughts, do a thought interrupt by saying out loud stop, erase, go away, I’m not listening. And replace with positive ones.
10. When you’re anxious or worried, focus on the things you do have.

And your mission, that I hope you’ll choose to accept…
1) Think of something that you want more of in your life. Is it friendships, romantic relationships, more activity, ie: yoga, walking etc. Is it a project you’ve been putting off starting, is it an idea that you’ve wanted to pursue that you haven’t. Write it down. If there’s more than one, write them all down. No judgements! Nothing is too big or too small.
2) Send your list to me, for my eyes only. I am offering to hold you accountable for that first step. Email me: nancy@nancylanggibbs.com. I want to see your emails! Let’s get going! It’s never too late!
Thank you so much for listening! And until the next time, live passionately, vulnerably, and keep loving later life!
